Do you want to work on website development?
The Office of Presidential Libraries is re-designing its website (www.archives.gov/presidential-libraries). The new section will be a portal to the thirteen Presidential Libraries' websites and will be designed around common user tasks.
The Intern will evaluate area-specific content among the thirteen Libraries finishing the week with a recommendation to the Office of Presidential Libraries about efficient and intuitive ways to point the user to the content available in the Libraries. The intern will only be responsible for analyzing and recommending the portal interface for one area of content, for example, photograph collections, scanned archival material, exhibits, education activities, or some other content area.
Requirement
Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels. Interest in web design/webpage development. Research and analyze web content.
The position is located at NARA's headquarters in College Park, MD. A free shuttle is available between DC and College Park beginning at 8:00 am and ending at 5:00 pm (running on the hour).
